Secretary, Chair of Succession Planning Committee
Term II ends April 2026
Steve Martin and his wife, Michelle live in Limehouse along with 1 of their 4 daughters; Jordie is married (3rd year Med school at U of Ottawa), Maddie (Registered Nurse), Annie (3rd year U 0f Guelph) and Lilly (Grade 11). Their first exposure to Christian education occurred in 2003 when they enrolled Jordie in Junior Kindergarten at Halton Hills Christian School (HHCS) in Georgetown. They quickly recognized the benefits of Christ-centered education and have been tremendously blessed to be part of HHCS and TDCH for over 20 years. These years under the instruction of Godly teachers and staff have proved to be instrumental in preparing their girls for service in the light of God’s Word. Steve, who is formally trained as an electrical engineer, has spent his career working in the construction industry. He has served on a variety of boards including Kids International Ministries, The Lending Journey, and prior terms at TD Christian, and Living Hope Alliance Church in Georgetown. The Martin family has a passion for serving and sharing God’s love with those less fortunate; one of their favorite family activities is serving at Kids International Ministries in the Philippines. Although a first-generation participant in Christian education, Steve is passionate about the cause, both for today and for future generations.
