Carolyn a graduate of TDChristian (Class of ’95), has spent her career in education, teaching and supporting students to help them discover and develop their individual passions and strengths. Carolyn is a graduate of Institute of Child Studies at University of Toronto (M.A) and McMaster University (B. Sc.) and is currently a special education resource teacher at Viola Desmond Public School in Maple, Ontario. She has been a teacher in a variety of different roles in elementary schools over the past 19 years and has worked in a mentorship capacity with teachers to help develop strategies to meet the needs of students who have exceptional learning needs. Carolyn has also spent the last 19 years building a family. Carolyn and her husband Jeremy (also class of ‘95) reside in King City with their three kids, two of whom are enrolled at TDChristian (Grade 12 and Grade 10) and one on the way (currently in Grade 7). When they are not focused on their family or work, they love a good book, a strong cup of coffee, a dinner with friends and being an active part of The Well Community Church. Carolyn is excited by the work TDChristian is doing to prepare youth to serve and lead in all areas of God’s kingdom here on earth and is honoured to be a part of the TDChristian School Board.
