School Trip

The World History class will depart at 9am for this field trip and return to school by 2:15pm. The students will engage with U of T profs to study books and use a printing press.

Students in Grade 12 English will travel to the AGO. This event takes place during the school day.

Both Geography 9 classes will travel to Crawford lake to learn about the human and physical geography of this unique meromictic lake. This trip was originally scheduled in September, but was postponed due to thunderstorms on the original date.

The band (courses AMR1O and AMR2O)  will be travelling to Pickering for a field trip. They will depart from TDChristian at 9:00 a.m. and return at 2:15 p.m.

The Grade 11 students who are enrolled in the English & Perspectives courses in Semester One will be participating in a three-day overnight service trip as a part of their English & Perspectives classes.

The Grade 10 and 12 Phys Ed classes will be travelling to Triple Play Sports at the Ajax Golf Course to participate in lacrosse workshops

Students who are taking Geography 9 will visit the Crawford Lake exhibit and other exhibits as a part of their course.

The English 9 classes will be travelling to Stratford to see the Shakespeare play, The Tempest. They will depart from TDChristian at 9:30 a.m. and return between 6:45 and 7:15 p.m. Parents are asked to please arrange for a late pick up for your child from TDChristian.

Students in Grade 12 English are invited to participate in an optional trip to see the Shakespeare play, Death of a Salesman. Students will return to TDChristian in evening; families please arrange transportation.

The Chemistry 11U class will be travelling to Redeemer University to learn how to test water samples for nitrates and phosphates. We will be bringing samples from the watersheds near where each student lives for testing.
