With hearts filled with gratitude, we are delighted to share that the Kristina’s Wish Campaign has been completed: all the seats in the Presentation Centre have been donated. What began as a dream to honour the memory of a joyful Grade 9 student who cherished life despite her cancer has become a reality.
The Presentation Centre, filled with its high-quality theatre seating, has hosted productions in which students have shared their God given talents with confidence and courage, and connected with audiences of all ages. Each seat is a testament to the community’s generosity in response to Kristina Pazic’s friends who began the fund to honour her creativity, kindness, and love for the arts.
A lasting marker of Kristina’s legacy is seat A1 (first row, stage left) the place she always sat during school assemblies. The seat upholstered in light blue, Kristina’s favourite colour, is a constant reminder of a Grade 9 girl whose life inspired others.
As Julia Robinson [’23], a friend of Kristina’s, shared:
“It was truly special to perform there, knowing that the seats were in memory of my dear friend Kristina. I hope future generations will shine bright on stage.”
The fulfillment of Kristina’s Wish will bless TDChristian students and audiences for years to come. Every act on stage and every burst of applause will carry with it the memory of Kristina’s joy—one that perseveres.
